Rhubarb and plum with a tart acidity and black tea finish
The Kanovera Coop is located in the Ntamba village in the Commune of Musigati, which is located in the Bubanza Province near the border of Rwanda. This Coop produces 960 bags of green coffee a year. Kanovera is one of eleven sub-coops of COCOCA, an association of coffee growers in Burundi which was created in 2009. As of 2015, the Coop consists of 160 members. The cherries that are collected are processed by the fully-washed method which enables the coffee to feature a pronounced acidity and clean profle. This is the frst time coffee from this lot is Fair Trade certifed.
